NFL Football

While I’ve been betting on the NFL for almost as long as I’ve been playing the horses (I began selling my racing selections and analyses in 1986), it’s only been 4 years since I’ve made my NFL selections available for purchase on my own website. Like one would do with any business, I’ve listened to my clients, and this year I’ll be changing my NFL format a bit as a result of that feedback.

My basic philosophy for NFL wagering is this: Quality over Quantity. My NFL partner and I follow the NFL 365 days a year, staying tuned in to all available information on player and coaching changes, studying statistics and the ever-advancing metrics, and digesting copious amounts of information from articles, podcasts, and interviews.

With all of that information, and with the seemingly endless array of options for wagering on the NFL, my belief is that we must be disciplined enough to only wager on our strongest opinions. Each week during the NFL season, I will offer two products for sale:

1) NFL GAME SELECTIONS

Each week, I will choose from 1 to 3 NFL games that I analyze and determine to be my strongest plays. Each game package will include my reasons, along with a suggested wager that will be given either against the spread, as an over-under wager, or both. I will sell only those select games that I will be betting on myself, as I’ve always done. The cost of each game will be $40, with the option of paying $60 instead to get a guarantee for that game. If we lose the game, the guarantee gets you a free $40 game to replace it at any time during the rest of the current season.

2) PROP BETS ON INDIVIDUAL PLAYER PERFORMANCES

In addition to wagering on NFL games, I also devote considerable time and resources to playing in many online contests throughout the year that require analyzing individual player performances every week, and then projecting their future performances, using many of the same principles that I’ve refined in my 50+ years as a horse racing handicapper. As such, during the NFL season, my partner and I are acutely in tune with weekly expectations for offensive ‘skill position’ players on every team, and I will offer one package a week that includes my three best individual player props. One of those three props will be my prime play, and the other two will be plays that I also have a very strong opinion about. These three props can be played individually, or as a 2 or 3 wager parlay. I usually play them both ways. The cost of this package is $30. Given the format of this package, it is sold only as a non-guaranteed product.
